Sales Information

We have the right to refuse sale to anyone.

While we will make every effort to be sure  buyers are happy with their purchase, our goats do not come with any warranty, expressed or implied, on their future soundness, temperament, or ability to reproduce.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold a kid until it is picked up or until the purchase price is paid in full.   The balance of the purchase price must be paid in full by the time of pickup or by the time the kid is 10 weeks of age.  If the purchase price is not paid in full by 10 weeks of age, the kid will be offered for sale to another buyer and the original deposit will not be returned.

Checks are accepted, but must clear before the goat will be released.  Payment at the time of pickup must be by cash or money order.

The price of the kid includes either a registration application OR registration certificate (depending on the age of the goat at the time of sale), first vaccinations, deworming, hoof trimming, and health certificate by farm veterinarian.  Goats sold as pet quality will not be sold with registration papers.

The price does not include any of the following:

     *Laboratory testing

*Veterinary exam (by an outside veterinarian)

*Health certificate (by an outside veterinarian)

*Second set of vaccines (including rabies)

     *Microchipping

     *Crates for transport

     *Transportation fees

*Transport of the kid to the airport for shipping

We can arrange for these items to be performed at an additional expense and are more than happy to assist our buyers in any of these areas.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine what is required for goats entering their state.

We do not disbud, dehorn, or bottle feed our goats (except for health reasons).

All of our bucklings are sold intact.  We recommend castration at 5-6 months of age.  Early wethering increases the risk of urinary blockage due to bladder stones later in life.

We do not sell single goats unless the purchaser already has other goats.  Goats are very social animals and need the company of others.  We do offer special pricing for multiple goat purchases.

Buyers are expected to provide safe transportation of any goats leaving our farm.  We are happy to discuss appropriate transportation with our buyers.  We reserve the right to not release an animal if we do not believe it will be safely transported to its new home.
